Drywall Finisher Columbus, IN 47201 On-site Full-time, temp-to-hire Pay: $25 $27 per hour Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Openings: 1 ABOUT THE ROLE Elwood Staffing is seeking an experienced drywall finisher for a first-shift team in Columbus. You'll finish walls and ceilings to a high standard while working with professional finishing equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Tape, mud, sand, and texture drywall to create clean, finished surfaces. • Operate automatic tapers and other drywall finishing tools and equipment. • Apply a variety of wall and ceiling textures. • Work safely on ladders, scaffolding, stilts, and elevated surfaces as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive drywall finishing experience, including sanding and use of finishing equipment. • Strong proficiency with automatic tapers and finishing tools. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform work involving bending, kneeling, climbing, and prolonged standing. • Availability for the full-time weekday schedule listed above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience using stilts and working on scaffolding or elevated surfaces. • Valid driver's license.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
