LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) Opportunity in Walnut Creek, CATampico Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN to join our team of skilled nursing professionals. As an LVN at our 128-bed skilled nursing rehabilitation center, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to implement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and treatments
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and provision of individualized resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, consultants, physicians, and department managers to ensure high-quality care
- Provide resident assessment-related education and documentation
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care
Requirements:
- Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California
- Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certificationLVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language
