Active Treatment Coordinator - Caswell Development Center

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Knowledge of concepts, practices, and instructional techniques utilized for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of supervisory and management skills, including staff monitoring, instructional competencies, timekeeping abilities and proven leadership skills. Effective communication both oral and written and the ability to maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of team members. Proven ability to be task oriented, flexible, to plan, prioritize, and organize work, manage time wisely, recognize and resolve problems and issues as necessary. Experience in evaluation, instructional techniques and creating instructional objectives and educational activities for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, Autism and Severe/Profound Cognitive Disabilities; Experience with NCVIP, ICF/IID Regulations, EPIC and DHHS policies and procedures. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Other: Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions, Visual Acuity, Inside/Outside Activities. Per G.S. 126-5(cl) (37), this position is Exempt from all provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 (State Human Resources Act) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7.This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
