Role Description:
The Human Resources Director role at Nexora Ventures is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing strategic and operational HR functions. This role includes designing, updating, and implementing HR policies that align with organizational goals and legal requirements. The Human Resources Director will manage employee relations, guide performance management processes, and advise leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. Day-to-day tasks involve providing HR consultation to managers, resolving employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor and employment law, and maintaining accurate HR documentation. The role also involves supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and promoting an engaging, respectful work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in Human Resources (HR) leadership, including strategic planning and HR operations management.
Strong knowledge of HR Policies and the ability to design, implement, and improve compliant and practical HR frameworks.
Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Expertise in Performance Management, such as setting frameworks for evaluations, feedback, and development planning.
Detailed understanding of Labor and Employment Law and experience ensuring regulatory compliance in a remote environment.
Demonstrated ability to work part-time and remotely while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusion and non-discriminatory practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
Experience guiding HR in small to mid-sized or high-growth organizations is an advantage.
