Position Summary:
- Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in order to maintain the hospital facilities in a neat, orderly and sanitary manner. Cleans and moves furniture, equipment and uses proper cleaning supplies according to established procedures.
- Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the JobAbility to safely and competently perform assigned duties
- Ability to follow through when given directions
- Ability to prioritize workload efficiently.
- Ability to perform the basic cleaning functions within the patient setting.
- Ability to perform job function utilizing safe practices such as but not limited to: Proper use of wet floor signs
- Safe Bio hazard waste handling
- Linen bags change out 1⁄2 full
- Ability to respond to emergency situations involving either patient safety or building safety according to hospital policies and procedures and/or regulatory requirements
- Ability to be at work and be on time
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives
- Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner
- Ability to prioritize and multitask*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
