Duration: 12+ month contractEmployment Type: C2C or W2Pay Rate: OpenSchedule: Must be able to work EST business hoursTravel: NoneAbout the RoleOur client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Product Owner to support its Retirement Services businessThis role partners with business stakeholders and delivery teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product featuresRetirement services experience is not required; strong financial services experience is valuedKey ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business goalsWrite clear user stories and acceptance criteriaGather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable work for delivery teamsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectivesServe as the primary point of contact between business and technology teamsMake timely decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offsReview completed work and confirm it meets acceptance criteriaCommunicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsExperience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project ManagerExperience in the financial services industryWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience writing user stories and managing a backlogStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently in a fully remote environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in asset management or wealth managementExposure to retirement services, such as defined contribution or 401(k) plansExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOpsProduct Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, or similar) Who Should ApplyProduct Owners with financial services experienceBusiness Analysts and Project Managers looking to step into or continue in a Product Owner role are encouraged to apply
