Onsite Collections Cataloging Intern Photography Archive

The National Building Museum invites applications for a graduate-level internship to organize and inventory the George Stewart Photography Collection, focusing on 180,000 transparencies from 1950–2005. The project advances the museum's multi-year documentation efforts and provides hands-on archival experience. The intern will receive training in cataloging, data standards, and rehousing, work onsite 2–3 days weekly for 200 hours, and earn $20 per hour with potential academic credit.
