CICS Developer

Overview In this CICS Developer role, you will design, develop and maintain mainframe applications in a large corporate setting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure and scalable solutions. You will leverage IBM Z/OS COBOL and CICS expertise to deliver robust services, APIs via z/OS Connect and Kafka integrations, and support modern CI/CD practices. This is an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical banking domain systems while expanding cloud and AWS knowledge. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCLDebug and optimize code in a large corporate environment Support API development using z/OS Connect and Kafka Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on SDLC processes Leverage AWS-related capabilities as a plus Key requirements Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficiency in one or more programming languages Experience with COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman/Endeavor on IBM mainframes Experience in API creation using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration is a plus Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, and security practices Experience in or familiarity with AWS is a plus Experience in a large corporate environmentIBM Z/OS COBOLCICSIMS DB/DCDB2VSAMJCL
