Transportation Engineer 1 - Planning/Traffic SafetyReview & design simple plans for proposed highway construction projects in the Planning & Programs Office. Performs traffic engineering studies (e.g., safety, speed, capacity, parking, corridor, developer, fatal, signal, permit, etc.) Performs field inspections to analyze physical conditions and collect data. Prepares work orders. Prepares reports, plans and exhibits for public meetings & attends public meetings. Respond to written inquiries from the public and governmental officials. Monitors and updates progress for status reports (e.g., safety annual work plan).Enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Receive paid time off with vacation, sick and personal leave.
