Used Car Salesperson

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Used Car Salesperson to sell quality pre-owned vehicles and create a professional, transparent buying experience. The ideal candidate is confident speaking with customers in person, by phone, text, and online; follows up consistently; understands the value of inventory knowledge; and can move deals from first contact to sales closure. This role is performance-based and requires strong communication, organization, follow-up, negotiation, and customer-service skills. Automotive sales experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities;1.Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.2. Respond quickly to internet leads, phone calls, text messages, social-media inquiries, and marketplace leads.3. Maintain a professional closing ratio from appointments, test drives, and qualified leads.4. Identify customer needs, budget, vehicle preferences, trade-in situation, financing needs.5. Keep display vehicles, desk area, and showroom presentable at all times.6. Generate repeat customers, referrals, positive online reviews, and self-sourced business.7. Availability of minimum 3 days at work including Saturday. Qualifications;1.Prior automotive sales, retail sales, customer service, finance, or commission-based sales experience preferred.2. Strong verbal communication skills.3. Strong follow-up habits and ability to manage multiple customers and priorities at once. Compensation;1)Base Pay and commission based on Vehicle sales and Customer Satisfaction.2)Monthly and quarterly performance bonuses.3)Employee vehicle-purchase discounts, subject to dealership policy.
