About the role

Outage Coordination Responsibilities: Outage coordination (OC) responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating, and writing distribution switching procedures for NSP construction and maintenance departments adhering to safety policies and guidelines. It is challenging to provide a timely customer response when there are more switch plan requests than resources to coordinate, communicate and write. Maintaining the existing workload with fewer FTEs will result in longer lead time for switch plan coordination, which may result in higher Construction costs due to project delays.

Top skills and qualifications required include: familiar with distribution electrical system, trouble man/lineman experience, and the ability to work well with others and coordinate/schedule.
