About the role

Well established insurance organization is seeking an experienced P&C Actuary to join its Product and Pricing team. Key responsibilities will be to analyze underwriting data into pricing frameworks, predictive analytics, and decision-support tools that optimize risk segmentation, profitability, and competitive positioning for the organization.
What we're looking for: 3-5+ years of P&C actuarial experience (rate adequacy, claims analysis)Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or related field Actuarial designation in the works or already have Catastrophe modeling experience a plusACAS/FCAS membership a plus Strong Excel skills; SQL/R proficiency preferred
Key Responsibilities: Analyze pricing data and market trends to develop pricing models and strategies Run pricing simulations and sensitivity analyses; build assumptions for the market Query and analyze claims data (SQL); support quantitative modeling projects Conduct competitive intelligence and market research Track pricing KPIs, margin analysis, and produce expected loss ratio (ELR) estimates by state Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams Identify process/automation improvements and help implement pricing tools 100K-150K 3-5 years 150K-200K 5+ years
