About the role

Duties: Looking for volunteers who love the outdoors and gardening! We have tomato plants and pollinator gardens to be maintained. We also have "pick your own strawberry" events that we need volunteers to assist customers with during the week and also on Saturdays.

Qualifications: Interest in gardening. Ability to walk up hills and farm terrain. Ability to bend and use hand held gardening tools. Customer services skills are a plus. No experience on a farm is required. Training will be provided This position is for you if you love to be outdoors, love gardening and are looking to expand your gardening skills. Gardening hours are weekday mornings. Pick Your Own Strawberry Hours are Monday through Friday 1-3pm, and Saturdays 10am to 1pm. As we are with the School District of Philadelphia, criminal clearances are required. Our volunteer coordinator can help you complete all required paperwork.
