Manufacturing TechniciansPGS Worldwide is seeking Manufacturing Technicians in Oxnard, California for an approximately 11-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support manufacturing operations involving assembly, bonding, setup and calibration, rework, quality testing, and process improvement for aerospace components and assemblies.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.2–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering or manufacturing drawings.
Experience with adhesive bonding, adhesives, bonding processes, and/or silicones.
Ability to follow manufacturing instructions, drawings, and established process requirements.
Ability to work effectively with engineers and production personnel.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Skills:
- Silicone bonding experience.
- Trimming and cleaning experience.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, spacecraft, composite, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting setup and calibration activities.
- Experience performing rework and quality testing.
- Experience collecting and evaluating manufacturing or operating
- You'll DoPerform manufacturing operations supporting the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Perform adhesive and silicone bonding activities.
- Support trimming, cleaning, assembly, and related production
with engineers on equipment setup and calibration tasks.
Perform rework and quality-testing activities.
Collect and evaluate operating data used to support manufacturing processes.
Make production adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment as required.
Assist with development and improvement of manufacturing methods and procedures.
Support engineers with manufacturing experiments and process-development activities.
Maintain compliance with applicable quality and production requirements.
Work Schedule / ShiftFull-time onsite in Oxnard, California.9/80A schedule.40 hours per week.
Pay$36.37 per hour.
