Position Overview:
SIH's Emergency Medicine team is looking for an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our practice in Southern Illinois. Our EM Advanced Practice Providers have the opportunity to work at the top of their licensure in our Level II Trauma Center.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Work alongside experienced, collegial, and efficient Physicians & APPsTwelve 12-hr shifts per month
- See a variety of cases
- Memorial Hospital of Carbondale: Level II Trauma CenterHerrin Hospital: No trauma designation
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with 80-100 encounters per day
- Training:
- Master s or Bachelor s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (CAHEA-accredited), orMaster s Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing (CCNEA-accredited)
Qualifications:
- 1 year Advanced Practice in Emergency Room setting
- Current Illinois licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse
- Current NCCPA (PA) or AACC (APN) certification
- Illinois Controlled Substance License or eligible to obtainIL DEA or eligible to obtain
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Current ATLS certification
