Overview
In this role you will design and implement Isola's manufacturing learning and capability framework to develop a safe, skilled workforce. You will collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Manufacturing Excellence to standardize learning that scales from North America to a global network. You will translate SOPs and engineering docs into practical curricula and steward learning content in LMS and documentation systems. This role emphasizes impact on frontline operators, technicians, and leaders through scalable, multi-site programs.
Responsibilities Translate complex manufacturing processes into practical learning experiences and develop guides, visuals, and eLearning modules Partner with SMEs to validate technical accuracy and align content with process documentation Maintain standardized content within LMS and Document Management System Update competencies by role and define required capabilities for manufacturing positions Establish certification and recertification processes and enable cross-training and multiskilling Design the overall training infrastructure, including onboarding, OJT, instructor-led and digital learning Establish training governance and select learning technologies and delivery methods Identify and develop plant trainers, create Train-the-Trainer programs, and foster a trainers community Determine the most effective delivery methods per objective and ensure consistent training across sites Measure training effectiveness via competency assessments and KPIs and drive continuous improvement Support Manufacturing Excellence initiatives through workforce capability development
Key requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Education, Organizational Development, or related discipline; equivalent experience 5+ years in manufacturing 3+ years designing manufacturing training systems, curriculum, or workforce development programs Experience developing SOP-based learning content Experience creating competency models or skills matrices Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design Experience implementing or administering Learning Management Systems Demonstrated ability to influence leaders without direct authorityinfluencing without authoritycross-functional collaborationproblem-solving Articulate Camtasia Vyond
