Regional Sales Manager – Motion Control | Cincinnati / Dayton, OHI’m supporting a leading manufacturer of high-performance motion control technology looking to add an experienced Regional Sales Manager across the Greater Cincinnati / Dayton market. This is a technical, customer-facing sales role focused on growing both OEM and distribution accounts across the territory.
The Role:
- Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory
- Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts
- Sell technically engineered precision gearboxes & servo automation solutions
- Identify new applications and guide customers through system sizing / solution selection
- Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams
- Manage major projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting
- Approximately 75% travel across the territory
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of technical sales experience within motion control / industrial automation
- Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives and/or related motion technologies
- Experience selling both direct to OEMs and through distribution
- Technically capable of discussing servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications
- Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree preferred
- Must be based within the Cincinnati / Dayton area
