Cloud Engineer Lead

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM EST

Responsibilities: Define and enforce enterprise cloud architecture standards and best practices. Lead large-scale cloud initiatives, migrations, and modernization programs. Partner with security, networking, and application teams to ensure integrated solutions. Drive adoption of automation, DevOps, and governance frameworks across teams. Serve as a technical advisor to leadership and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering. Minimum 3 years of hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity, storage, and compute. Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem integration scenarios.

Preferred Skills: Azure certifications - one or more of the following:

• AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Highly Preferred)AZ-305: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertAZ-400: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.5 years Hands-On Azure Engineering Experience.
• Experience deploying IaC with Terraform.
• AWS hands-on experience.
• Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
