License/Certs: Surgical Technology certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Experience: 2 years in a similar medical setting

What You'll Do: Assist physicians and the surgical team during procedures. Scrub for surgical procedures and provide effective support to the registered nurse. Ensure surgical equipment and supplies are properly handled, maintained, and available. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the department. Perform direct patient care duties within the scope of the role. Clean and disinfect endoscopes while maintaining required quality-control measures. Maintain current clinical knowledge, technical skills, equipment training, and credentials.

What You Need: RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accepted surgical technology program. Surgical Technology certification; online certification is not accepted. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart least 2 years of experience in a similar medical setting. Strong organization and time-management skills. Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and adapt positively to change.
