Compensation:
- Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:
The Manager of Network Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and management of the firm's networking infrastructure, including global WAN/SD-WAN, advanced routing (BGP, OSPF), QoS optimization, and public cloud connectivity. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership to support a secure, resilient, and scalable network environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Management
- Oversee global WAN operations for scalability and high availability
- Lead deployment and lifecycle management of SD-WAN technologies
- Design and maintain network infrastructure utilizing BGP, OSPF, and other advanced routing protocols
- Optimize enterprise Wi-Fi systems across firm locations
- Cloud Networking
- Design and manage cloud connectivity solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWSEnsure seamless integration between on-premise infrastructure and public cloud environments
- Traffic Management
- Implement and maintain QoS (Quality of Service) policies for application performance optimization
- Proactively monitor latency, bandwidth usage, and network performance metrics
- Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of network engineers
- Align team activities with broader IT and business goals
- Promote professional development and a collaborative team culture
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for network engineering
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security of network systems
- Define monitoring standards, disaster recovery plans, and compliance controls
- Collaboration & Support
- Serve as the escalation point for critical network issues
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align strategies and resolve issues
- Project ManagementLead network-related initiatives and deployments
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering4–6 years of leadership or managerial experience Proven experience with: o Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) o Global WAN and SD-WAN technologies o Enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure o Cloud networking in Azure and/or AWSDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage infrastructure at scale
