Commercialization Excellence Lead

Overview In this role, you will shape and scale Kraft Heinz’s commercialization capability, defining a multi-year maturity roadmap across process, people, and technology. You will implement governance and change-management practices to ensure fast, high-quality decisions and aligned execution. You will partner with senior leaders to drive cross-functional accountability and deliver consumer-centric, market-ready initiatives. Compensation / Benefits Total Rewards philosophy New Hire Base Salary Range: $141,500.00 - $176,900.00bonus eligibilityhealthcare coverageretirement (401k)wellbeing programs Responsibilities Define and execute a multi-year commercialization capability maturity roadmap across process, people, and technology Design and improve a scalable project governance framework (agile, stage-gate, hybrid)Establish standardized decision-making frameworks (RACI, gate criteria, escalation paths) for speed and quality Institutionalize change management practices and aligned baseline plans Promote a Business First, Project Second operating philosophy focused on consumer-centric success criteria Develop learning plans (Commercial, Technical, Market) to support Gate decisions and readiness Implement post-launch tracking with performance templates and rapid corrective action Act as senior advisor on commercialization risks and options for leadership Partner with commercialization, functional leaders, and decision-makers to build governance communities Define role profiles, competency frameworks, and career ladders; lead onboarding and team effectiveness for PMs and cross-functional teams Coach and mentor project managers; embed 5E Leadership principles across multi-functional leadership Lead selection, implementation, and adoption of commercialization technology (portfolio management platforms, stage-gate tools, collaboration systems)Define data standards, tracking compliance, and reporting cadences across the portfolio Design dashboards and governance reports for real-time portfolio health, risk, and capacity utilization Evaluate and improve integrated planning processes (AOP schedules, spending, resource allocation) for cross-functional alignment Key requirements 10+ years in project management, commercialization leadership, or transformation in CPG, food & beverage, or adjacent industries Deep expertise in commercialization and innovation processes, portfolio governance, and multi-functional program management Track record of building or maturing a commercialization function including process design, talent development, and technology enablement Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiative portfolios from ideation to in-market performance Experience leading enterprise change management and executive-level stakeholder alignment Proficiency with portfolio management systems (Planview, Smartsheet, MS Project, SAP) and driving digital adoptionPMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus Courageous communicator Systems thinker Collaborative influencer Portfolio management systems (Planview, Smartsheet, MS Project, SAP)Digital adoption and governance tooling Data standards and reporting
