Systems Architect - Data Science & Advanced Analytics

Overview In this role you will lead the architecture and strategic direction for enterprise data science and advanced analytics. You collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to design scalable analytics environments and cloud-based data platforms. You will shape best practices, govern models, and drive adoption of AI/ML capabilities across the organization. This position offers impact by enabling data-driven decision making at scale and guiding modern data architecture modernization. Responsibilities Lead enterprise Data Science and Advanced Analytics initiatives and set vision for Big Data, AI, and ML solutions Design and implement scalable data science environments supporting experimentation, model development, validation, and deployment Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Analytics teams Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities Architect end-to-end ML/advanced analytics solutions using modern platforms and distributed computing Design scalable workflows for data prep, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and production Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate objectives into analytical solutions Establish model governance, reproducibility, documentation, and monitoring Design enterprise data architectures enabling large-scale analytics and ML workloads Lead data pipelines and analytics frameworks using Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark Ensure scalable, reliable data solutions aligned with enterprise standards Lead modernization initiatives to improve data accessibility and operational efficiency Partner with leadership to define data/analytics roadmaps and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Host architecture reviews and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analytical products Foster collaboration between Data Science, Data Engineering, and business teams Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)10+ years designing and implementing advanced analytics, ML, or Big Data solutions Experience as a technical lead or SME for enterprise data science initiatives Experience leading technical teams and architecting large-scale analytics platforms Experience building AI/ML solutions for mission-critical or large-scale operations Knowledge of modern data governance and responsible AI principles Experience with experimentation frameworks, model operationalization, and analytics product development Familiarity with Agile product development and collaborative data science workflows Cross-functional collaboration Executive stakeholder engagement Mentoring and coaching of technical teams Machine Learning model development and lifecycle management Statistical analysis and predictive modeling Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics methodologies
