About the role

Are you interested in travel, enjoy helping others, and want to build a business with a flexible schedule? We’re seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to become independent travel advisors. In this role, you’ll help clients research, plan, and book vacations while developing your skills in travel planning, customer service, and sales. You’ll work with travelers to understand their preferences and recommend experiences that fit their interests, budget, and needs. Previous travel industry experience is helpful but not required. Training and educational resources are available to help you learn about destinations, travel suppliers, booking processes, and client service.
What You’ll Do: Consult with clients to understand their travel dates, destinations, budget, and vacation preferences. Research and recommend cruises, all-inclusive resorts, hotels, vacation packages, and group travel options. Prepare personalized travel quotes and explain options, inclusions, and booking terms. Coordinate reservations through available travel suppliers and booking platforms. Help clients organize itineraries, reservation confirmations, and other travel details. Communicate with clients and suppliers before, during, and after travel as needed. Maintain organized client records and follow up on inquiries. Build relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals. Promote your travel services through networking, social media, and other appropriate marketing channels. Participate in training to strengthen your destination knowledge, supplier familiarity, and business skills. Experience in hospitality, sales, administration, marketing, or customer support can be useful. You should be comfortable learning new tools, following up with prospective clients, and taking an active role in building your business.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organization, time management, and attention to detail. Reliable access to a computer, phone, and internet connection. Comfort using email, online platforms, and social media. Ability to work independently and provide professional client service. Willingness to learn travel booking procedures and supplier policies. Eligibility to operate as an independent contractor in your location. Consistent communication, follow-through, and time devoted to learning and business development are important to serving clients well. This is a commission-based independent contractor position. Any business costs, participation requirements, and compensation details will be explained during the informational meeting so you can make an informed decision. Available training, resources, and support. The commission structure and business requirements. Any applicable costs and next steps. Answers to your questions during a Q&A session.
