EEG Technician

The EEG Tech functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff. Prepare patients and performs Electroencephalograms, Ambulatory EEG's, BAER's, VEP and other tests within their scope of practice. What you will do in this role: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department. Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for dept. Operate EEG, EMG and Evoked Potential equipment Maintain patient files Reconcile procedure and supply charges What qualifications you will need: High School diploma/GEDBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date National credentials by the ABRET for REEGT preferredEEG or Polysomnography experience preferred TriStar Summit Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
