University of the Cumberlands is hiring: Associate Athletic Trainer in Williamsburg

Sport Assignment: TBD The Associate Athletic Trainer may also assume additional administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Sports Medicine Operations. When fully staffed, the University of the Cumberlands Sports Medicine Department includes eight full‑time Athletic Trainers, one Insurance Administrator, and an on‑site Physical Therapist who provides services four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities: Sports MedicineProvide athletic training services for assigned varsity teams Cover practices, home varsity events, and team travel as assigned Oversee daily rehabilitation and treatment activities Prepare sports medicine facilities and practice/event coverage needs Complete injury documentation and reporting using ATS (Keffer Development) Administrative ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising undergraduate work‑study students and first aid responders Coordinate medical appointments and insurance claims with the department Insurance Administrator Manage annual pre‑participation medical paperwork and clearance processes Assist with summer orientation physicals for incoming freshmen and transfer students Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Sports Medicine Operations Application MaterialsResume and letter of application Official transcripts from all institutions attended Three letters of recommendation (letters may be emailed separately) Proof of BOC certification and any applicable state credentials Current CPR/First Aid certification card and Instructor Card (if applicable) Contact InformationApplication materials should be sent to: Ashley Konrad, MAT, LAT, ATC – Head Athletic Trainer University of the Cumberlands 6790 College Station Drive Williamsburg, KY 40769
