Role Description: The Investment Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing investment portfolios, developing and implementing investment strategies, and monitoring performance against benchmarks and client objectives. Day-to-day activities include conducting financial and market analysis, evaluating investment opportunities across asset classes, preparing investment proposals, and making allocation recommendations. The Investment Manager collaborates with internal teams to present research findings, communicate portfolio decisions, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. The position also involves regular reporting, participation in investment committee meetings, and ongoing assessment of macroeconomic trends and risks affecting portfolios.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong skills in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of managing portfolios or mandates. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, assess risk, and compare investment opportunities. Candidates should possess expertise in Investment Strategies and Finance, including asset allocation, valuation methods, and risk management frameworks. Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are highly beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with financial modeling tools, portfolio management systems, and standard office software.
