Packaging Assistant - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities: Takes direction from the Packaging Operator/LeadOperate packaging equipment and forklift in a manner that promotes safety and complies with EHSQ requirementsTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions in the packaging areaReport any potential production or quality issues to the shift supervisor immediatelyAccurately determine packaging weights and variances for changing package sizesWork with the Packaging Operator/Lead to become proficient on all packaging equipmentEnsure all ISO paperwork is filled out accurately and filedPerform random inspections on final packaged products to ensure quality requirements are being metMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work areaAssume Packaging Operator/Lead job duties in their absenceMust adhere to all policies and procedures of UPL
