Internal Medicine Physician Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for adult patients. Manage common acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory illnesses. Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings. Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Conduct women's health screenings, including Pap smears and pelvic exams. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate and timely documentation.

Education: Certification as a Physician Assistant Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a primary care setting.

Licensure: Active Virginia license or eligibility to obtain.

Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
