Software Engineer, Data Platform

Overview In this role, you will help build Ramp’s Analytics and Machine Learning Platforms to enable data science work across the company. You’ll partner with applied scientists, AI engineers, risk engineers, and ML developers to deliver scalable data tooling and production-ready ML workflows. You’ll craft reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure across the stack, accelerating model development and deployment. This is a hands-on, collaborative role shaping Ramp’s data platform to drive smarter financial operations at scale. Create tools that improve data access and workflow for data scientists and ML engineers. Collaborate with stakeholder teams to productionize ML applications. Develop scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient systems across the stack. Key requirements Experience with workflow orchestrators (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect).Experience building infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure. SQL knowledge and experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or Big Query. Intuition around analytics and machine learning; empathy for data science workflows. Strong Python programming skills.
