Cyber Security Engineer - Onsite

Cybersecurity Technology SpecialistSeeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates strong commitment to operational excellence, possesses technical proficiency in the deployment and management of cybersecurity technologies such as Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, and Splunk.The ideal candidate is well organized, detail-oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with a safety mindset. This individual must also exercise good judgment and render sound business decisions. The applicant should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce design and procedural have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed. Must be able to provide off-hour, on-call support as needed to support cybersecurity systems.Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours. Must have the means and be able to travel to various company locations. Must have a valid driver’s license.There are in-person requirements for this job and post COVID working arrangements will require reporting to office locations at minimum of four days a week.Selected candidate will require passing of NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment background check.AssignmentWork with others to implement new deployments of cybersecurity technologies such as Cyberark, Tenable, and other products. Additionally assist other upgrade efforts on existing infrastructure equipment to support applications and cyber security growth. Create documentation and procedures for day to day and major tasks as needed.Determine and propose suggested architecture for system deploymentsCommunicate and work with vendors and internal stakeholders on deployment of technologyConfigure and setup systemsCreate documentation and train others on the use of the new systemsPatch and maintain technologyMust HaveRelevant working experience in a cybersecurity team or performing cybersecurity functionsNice To HaveExperience with Anti-Virus Solutions such as Trend Micro Deep SecurityExperience with computer languages or scripting, and PowerShellExperience with RSA Secure IDExperience with SplunkStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with personnel on all levelsRequired Skills: SplunkBasic Qualification:Additional Skills:This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
