Job Summary: The RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) delivers life-saving care to critically ill or injured children. This position requires specialized skills to monitor vital signs, administer complex treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities: Provide intensive nursing care to pediatric patients with severe, life-threatening conditions. Monitor vital signs and use advanced equipment to track patient status. Administer specialized medications, IV infusions, and interventions as prescribed. Communicate with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists. Educate and offer emotional support to families navigating critical pediatric care.

BILL RATE - $100.00 D/N Rotation or Nights Only - 36hrs/week APHON REQUIRED Pediatric Mixed Acuity Unit-Pedi Hem/ONC: The Children's Hospital at Dartmouth is a mixed acuity unit providing care for patients from birth through 18 years of age. The unit is 19 beds and services all specialties within Dartmouth Children's. Our pediatric Hematoly/Oncolboy population makes up about 30% of our inpatient admissions. The unit supports at least 2 APHON certified RNs to staff each shift in a 3:1 ration. The Hem/ONC RN should be well versed in all pediatric cancers and therapies, and have extensive experience in caring for this patient population. The travel RN needs to also have experience with the Beacon platform.
