Job Summary:
Our Geology department is searching for an intern. Main tasks are to provide support to mapping and organizational projects and to learn.
Duties/Responsibilities: Analysis of subsurface geology through various sources of data
Subsurface mapping of geologic formations showing structural setting, thickness, porosity, etc.
Management and updating of well databases
Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or related Geosciences discipline.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
