About the role

Pharmacy Technician Position Available A pharmacy technician position is available to support an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy and hematology treatments. This role requires expertise in oncology pharmacy operations and infusion procedures to ensure safe and accurate preparation and administration of chemotherapy agents.
Location: Winder, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week contract
Note: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the location are not eligible to apply.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology and infusion pharmacy settings
  • Certified Chemotherapy Technician with experience in outpatient oncology infusion centers
  • Proficient in IV start techniques and accessing implanted ports
  • Must hold a valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy and select hematology treatments in the infusion center
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards specific to oncology pharmacy practice
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Manage and monitor inventory for chemotherapy agents and infusion supplies
