America's Largest Exterior Home Remodeling Company is growing! Window World of Long Island is currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician/Field Supervisor to join our family. At Window World, we provide premium products, professional installations, and honest pricing. Our Service Technicians play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by performing service work, warranty repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting for windows, doors, siding, roofing and other exterior home improvement products. We have a beautiful showroom located on Hempstead Turnpike in Farmingdale where customers can come in to see our products and meet our team six days a week. Responsibilities: Travel to customer homes to perform service, warranty, and repair work on windows, doors, siding, roofing, and related exterior products. Diagnose and resolve product, installation, and performance-related issues. Perform adjustments, repairs, replacements, and touch-up work as needed. Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service during every interaction. Clearly communicate findings, solutions, and recommendations to homeowners. Document service calls, completed work, and materials used. Work closely with installation, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and organized manner. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Participate in ongoing product and technical training.
Qualifications: Experience in residential construction, carpentry, window and door installation, siding, roofing, or related trades preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily service appointments. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Comfortable using ladders and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Basic measuring and math skills. Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
