We have a part-time (FTE 0.6) need at Med Star Gastroenterology Towson/Lutherville. Minimal Qualifications:
Education Master's degree Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. (Physician Assistant may be considered) required Experience 1-2 years 2 year experience as a nurse practitioner. May require additional experience in specialty assigned. required (Physician Assistant may be considered)
Licenses and Certifications:
(Physician Assistant may be considered) NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination as required based on work location(s). May require specialty license based on location. required andCPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities:
Verbal and written communication skills. Must have good problem-solving and independent judgment skills. Basic computer skills preferred. This position has a hiring range of
