About the role

The Mortgage Servicing Letter Writer / MSP Data Mapping Specialist is responsible for the creation, configuration, mapping, testing, and implementation of mortgage servicing correspondence within the ICE MSP Online Letter Writer system. This role will work closely with Mortgage Servicing Operations, Business Analysts, Compliance, IT, and UAT teams to ensure newly created and modified borrower letters are accurately mapped to the appropriate MSP data fields, meet business and regulatory requirements, and are fully tested prior to production release. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with ICE MSP Online Letter Writer, mortgage servicing processes, MSP data mapping, letter configuration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This individual must understand how mortgage servicing data flows from MSP into borrower correspondence and be able to identify and resolve mapping, data, formatting, and business-rule issues before letters are released.
Key Responsibilities: Create, configure, modify, and maintain mortgage servicing letters using the ICE MSP Online Letter Writer system. Develop and maintain MSP data mappings to ensure the appropriate loan, borrower, escrow, payment, delinquency, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other servicing data populate letters accurately. Translate mortgage servicing business requirements into properly configured borrower correspondence and letter templates. Partner with Mortgage Servicing Operations and subject matter experts to determine required data elements, business rules, letter triggers, and expected letter content. Create and implement new letters supporting a broad range of mortgage servicing processes, including: Escrow analysis and escrow-related correspondence Escrow shortage and surplus letters Payment and payment-change letters Delinquency and collections correspondence Loss mitigation and borrower assistance letters Foreclosure letters and notices Bankruptcy-related correspondence Default servicing letters Insurance and tax-related correspondence Servicing transfer and other borrower communications Perform detailed UAT testing of newly created and modified letters to validate that the correct letter is generated, the appropriate MSP data populates each field, calculations and dates are accurate, and formatting and regulatory disclosures are correct. Develop UAT test scenarios and test cases covering normal, exception, and edge-case servicing situations. Validate letters against source MSP data and approved business requirements to identify discrepancies before production deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping, field population, formatting, business-rule, and letter-generation issues. Conduct regression testing when changes to MSP data, servicing processes, letter templates, or mapping logic could impact existing correspondence. Ensure all letters are properly approved and UAT tested prior to production release.
Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the ICE MSP Online Letter Writer system in a mortgage servicing or mortgage lending environment.3-5 years of experience with MSP data mapping, including identifying and mapping MSP fields to mortgage servicing correspondence. Demonstrated experience creating, configuring, modifying, and maintaining mortgage servicing letters within ICE MSP Online Letter Writer. Strong understanding of mortgage servicing operations and lifecycle processes, including escrow, payments, delinquency, loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, insurance, taxes, and servicing transfers. Proven experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for mortgage servicing letters and correspondence. Experience developing UAT test cases, executing test scenarios, documenting defects, validating corrections, and providing final testing approval prior to release. Ability to validate MSP data is accurately mapped and displayed in the appropriate fields within borrower correspondence. Experience troubleshooting discrepancies between MSP source data, mapped fields, business requirements, and generated letters.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology / MSP and related mortgage servicing applications. Experience supporting regulatory and investor-driven mortgage servicing correspondence requirements. Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, CFPB, investor, agency, and state-specific servicing correspondence requirements.
