UC Building Security (1st Shift 7:45am- 4pm)

Salary Range: $20.50 To $20.50 Annually

General Responsibilities: Providing each guest and employees with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events through knowledge of Security procedures and facility familiarization at United Center. Demonstrated Skills:

• Must have security experience and/or PERC card.(Event experience or Criminal Justice studies preferred)
• Average work hours will total 20 hours per week
• Must be a positive, outgoing individual able to work well with large groups of people
• Excellent verbal communication skills and decision-making ability
• Ability to sit or walk up to 2/3 of the work shift
• Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English
• Basic knowledge of computers and software related to the Security field
• Customer Service Skills

Additional information: Pay Rate = $20.50 per hour The individual is required to walk up and down several stairs throughout the duration of the event. The individual may be required to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places or work in outdoor weather conditions. The position requires ability to stand for 3 quarters of shift. The use of hands, stooping, kneeling or reaching with hands may be required during shift. There may be lifting up to 10 pounds.
