As an Environmental Specialist V, you will need functional and technical expertise and skills in areas of air, water and/or waste. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing environmental risk, regular environmental planning, scheduling and cost estimating. You will handle resources, develop strategy for projects and report achievements!
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Develops, maintains, improves and provides guidance on environmental processes/policies
- Assesses environmental risk, provides recommendations to address risk and participates in or runs the approved course of action, including required regulatory documentation
- Coordinates regular environmental planning, scheduling and cost estimating, including preparation of environmental impact assessments
- Provides guidance and mentorship to others and is involved in industry associations and environmental communities
- Leads projects or programs with significant risk and complexity to achieve objectives; develops the strategy for project execution and handles resource requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree and minimum fifteen (15) years of multifaceted environmental experience
Preferred:
Minimum ten (10) years' experience in environmental soil and groundwater assessment and remediation at CERCLA (Superfund) and RCRA sites
Other Requirements:
