About the role

Job Title Responsibilities: • Fabricating automotive electrical wire harness assemblies. • Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics. • Assist engineering staff with instrumenting test articles, test setup, and test breakdown for validation activities. • Assisting engineering in conducting validation activities, including collecting and documenting needed data. Data collection, documentation, compiling, and analysis during testing. • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing of test equipment. • Build or modify test equipment/fixtures.
Desired Skills and Experience: • Relevant skills and experience with electrical harness fabrication and vehicle test. • Building prototype wire harnesses assemblies. including soldering electrical wires. • Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics. • Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters. • Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices. • Experience with high voltage cables for EVs. • Able to read vehicle and automotive component electrical schematics. • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, and instructions. • Basic MS Office knowledge.
