Job Description:
Assistant Store Manager – Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah Stop N Stor is a family-owned self storage company with 14 locations across coastal Georgia and South Carolina. We're hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our climate-controlled Montgomery Crossroads store in Savannah. Why this job: We promote from within, and this role is a direct path to Store Manager. If you're sales-minded, reliable, and want a real career in property management, we'll train you and grow you.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours a week. Store hours are Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM. You'll work every other Saturday and as needed, with two days off each week on a rotating schedule (usually Tuesday/Thursday or Tuesday/Saturday).
What you'll do:
Greet walk-ins and answer calls and web leads, and turn them into rentals Rent units, complete leases, and take payments in our property management software (Hummingbird)Make collection calls on past-due accounts and follow our lien process Complete daily end-of-day reporting and cash deposits accurately Keep the property clean and secure: walk-throughs, lock checks, light cleaning and upkeep Support the Store Manager and cover the store on their days off
What we're looking for:
1+ year in retail, sales, leasing, banking, or another customer-facing role with cash handling Comfortable with computers (Microsoft Office, point-of-sale or property software)Organized, accurate with money and paperwork, and able to work independently Clean, professional presentation and a positive attitude Reliable transportation; able to work every other Saturday and as needed Self storage or property management experience is a plus
Pay & benefits:
