Occupational Therapist (OT) Pivot Rehabilitation is a therapy delivery and multi-faceted solution management company aimed at improving health, advancing care, and lowering costs of aging populations within our communities. Pivot Rehabilitation focuses on providing effective therapy solutions with our patients, partners, and clinicians in mind.

  • Screens, evaluates, and treats patients
  • Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
  • Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications
  • Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
  • Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act
  • Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
  • Must be capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
