Unity Harbor Center utilizes a robust electronic medical records (EMR) system to facilitate seamless communication and efficient documentation practices, ensuring that you spend more time focusing on client care and less on administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy. Provide therapeutic services for diverse groups, families, couples, and individuals, helping them navigate various mental health challenges. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliant and effective care delivery. Engage in continuous professional development, participating in workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during case reviews and treatment planning sessions to enhance the quality of client care. Patient Population / Client FocusAt Unity Harbor Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, focusing on individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing mental health care. Many clients may be experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related issues. Your compassionate approach will be key in building rapport, understanding their unique circumstances, and promoting their personal development.

Qualifications: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada. A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical context. Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop meaningful relationships with clients. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care. Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and related technologies for effective case management.

Preferred Experience: Experience and specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a strong clinical acumen to tailor treatment approaches effectively.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
