Financial Analyst Bennett Aerospace is seeking a Financial Analyst in Arlington, Virginia. The Financial Analyst will provide expert administrative and financial support, assisting with budget execution, financial tracking, documentation preparation, and the development of reports and
Responsibilities:
- Process financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
- Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars
- Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds
- Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
- Minimum 3 years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing and presenting a status of funds for higher-level management
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Federal Government support
- Security Requirements
- Clearance Level Required: Public Trust to Top Secret Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
- Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
