About the role

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) works under the direction of a credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide educationally related speech and language services to students. The SLPA assists with implementing therapy activities and IEP goals, monitors and documents student progress, supports the use of communication devices, and collaborates with staff and families to support student success. This position serves students district-wide and works school days only.
