Salary: Salary placement on our Certified Salary schedule is dependent on the employees' education and/or work experience. Certified/licensed employees will be granted one (1) year for each full year of contractual and/or work experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years, which includes in-district and out-of-district contractual teaching and/or work experience. Responsibility for verification of outside experience shall rest with the individual employee.

PreK-5 embark on their pathway experience with activities like planning a rescue mission for a trapped zoo animal. In grades 6-8, they take on increasingly complex challenges like designing a home from a reclaimed shipping container.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary/Objective: Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Responsible to the building principal and department director where assigned.
Essential Functions: Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students; Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students; Maintains a discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and positive environment for all student and staff in accordance with school and county policies; Ensures adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students; Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum standards, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and communicates these objectives to students; Uses instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives and standards;
