Details: Works in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU of a level I trauma hospital Cares for pediatric patients with cardiovascular and critical care needs 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly Required to float to PICU, NICU, and Stepdown units Must commit to 4 weekend shift coverage (Saturdays and Sundays) within a 4-week scheduling block Requirements Active RN License issued by Oklahoma or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year of nursing experience required CVICU experience in a level I trauma setting required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Full DOB and SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provides nursing care to an assigned group of pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients Monitors physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products Collaborates with physicians on examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicates care plans and discharge information with patients and families Delegates tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Facility strictly enforces credentialing deadlines; onboarding must begin promptly after offer 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or termination of assignment Returning workers may extend once up to a total of 26 weeks, then require a 6-month separation before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-765666.
