Principal Clinical Scientist

Job Description: Work at IXOBring your experience in clinical research methodology to IXO’s paid AI evaluation work. You will turn specialist knowledge into clear examples, carefully reasoned assessments and corrections that help measure the quality of model responses.

Responsibilities: * Review model analyses of efficacy endpoints, safety outcomes and statistical significance.* Test reasoning about randomised and observational study design, bias controls and appropriate statistical methods.* Develop difficult cases involving missing-data methods, complex trials and apparently conflicting findings.* Assess interpretation of FDA and EMA submissions, ICH-GCP, research ethics and FDA 21 CFR, and write precise reference explanations. Experience and expertise Applicants need a PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, clinical research or a related field, or an MD with substantial research experience. At least seven years in clinical research, drug development or academic investigation are expected, with emphasis on design and analysis. Bring advanced statistical skills, proficiency in SAS, R or Stata, and a record of peer-reviewed publication or trial leadership. Working arrangements and pay Expected availability is 15–25 hours weekly over at least six months. The actual schedule and start are agreed before work begins. Eligible locations: USA, Canada, UK, Australia. Compensation is $95 - $160/hr USD. The agreed rate and delivery expectations will be confirmed before work begins.
