Birmingham, AL Contract $60 to $62/hour BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT REGISTERED NURSE ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide specialized care in a Bone Marrow Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and assist with Medical ICU overflow. This position requires strong clinical expertise, including hands-on experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical ICU overflow. - Administer and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and other advanced interventions for critically ill patients. - Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to execute comprehensive care plans. - Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
2+ years of registered nursing experience. - Hands-on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience. - Active Alabama Nursing License or Compact RN License. - Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Permanent residence located 50 miles or greater from the facility.
NICE TO HAVE: Current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s).
