About the role

Line Leader II
Location: Macungie, PA 18062 (Onsite)
Type: 6 month Contract To Hire Pay: $20.00 -$24.00/hour Schedule: M-F, 7:00AM - 3:00PMSystem One is hiring a Line Leader II to support 1st shift pharmaceutical packaging operations at a pharmaceutical and biotechnology packaging& clinical supply company. This role helps lead day-to-day line execution, ensures GMP documentation is completed correctly, and supports safe, efficient production in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead/coordinate packaging line activities and communicate work orders to the team
  • Ensure accurate, timely batch record documentation (GMP)
  • Monitor line performance, quality, and safety; escalate personnel/production issues as needed
  • Support changeovers, startups, clean checks, and daily task completion
  • Help train peers and assist with production metrics and troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • Pharma (or related) inspection experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree w/ relevant experience OR Associate's w/ 3–5 years pharma packaging experience (or equivalent)
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Strong documentation skills; proficient with Excel/WordMust pass GMP assessment during orientation
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
