Head of Finance (First finance hire) | AI-powered Healthtech | $260,000 - $300,000 + Bonus + Equity

The Role: You'll take ownership of the company's entire finance function, spanning financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial control and strategic finance. Partnering directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, you'll establish the financial models, systems and reporting structures needed to support the business as it scales. Alongside building the finance infrastructure, you'll provide commercial insight, challenge performance and help shape key business decisions. Profile 7+ years' experience gained across IB, PE, consulting or a finance role within a high-growth startup. Previous experience in a VC-backed tech business, ideally at Series B–E stage. Strong technical knowledge across financial modelling, FP&A, accounting and financial control. Proven ability to take ownership of a finance function, establishing processes, systems and infrastructure from the ground up. Experience preparing board-level reporting, supporting investor relations and engaging with senior stakeholders. Commercially minded Very AI forward with the curiosity to explore tools such as Claude Code and Codex to automate processes and improve finance operations. A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment.
